Job Title: Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Technician - Amarillo, TX - (Sign-on bonus up to $5,000)

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Technician to join their dynamic team. This position involves performing diagnostic ultrasound imaging on patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including tendons, joints, and soft tissues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong technical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound exams to assist in diagnosing and monitoring musculoskeletal conditions.

• Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

• Document patient history and relevant clinical information for accurate reporting.

• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.

• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Stay up to date with advancements in ultrasound technology and musculoskeletal diagnostics.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Technician or in a related ultrasound specialty.

• Certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (preferred but not required).

• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing musculoskeletal exams.

• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and pathology.

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
