TIG Welder

This person will be responsible for supporting the fabrication team in their fabrication shop, making custom pieces for metal kitchen designs, custom house railings, custom high-end elevator artworks, etc. They will primarily focus on TIG welding, which requires a specific technique.
Responsibilities- 60% TIG Welding / Fabrication, including reading blueprints, material preparation, and machine preparation
- 20% Going out to client sites to help with any installation issues
- 20% Maintaining a clean shop environment
- 5+ years of welding experience
- Proficiency in TIG welding
- Experience welding with different materials such as steel, brass, aluminum, and copper
- Ability to weld thin materials (20-gauge) and thicker materials (quarter-inch)
- Coachability and ability to learn new techniques
- Experience with fabricating equipment such as band saw, cold saw, brake press, and water jet
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience in related industries such as aerospace, decorative metal companies, or elevator companies
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
