We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping students achieve their maximum potential through therapeutic interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive evaluations to assess students needs related to occupational performance in school and daily activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care routines, and social skills.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities and routines.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals and interventions as needed to optimize outes.
  • Educate families and school staff on strategies to support students occupational therapy needs at home and in school.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input on student progress and remending appropriate acmodations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Indiana state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are wele to apply.
  • Excellent munication and teamwork skills, with a strong mitment to student development.
  • Passion for helping children succeed in their educational and personal goals.
