Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Type: Full Time ( Temp to Hire)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

  • Record patient vitals and maintain accurate medical records.

  • Administer medications as directed by physicians.

  • Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.

  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments.

  • Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health.

  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient files.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Certificate that you completed the MA program or the Associate's degree. (Does NOT require them to be certified or registered through the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, NHA, and NCCT)

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
