As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring freight reaches its destination efficiently. You’ll work alongside a high-caliber management team that understands the transportation industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.

  • Distribute orders to sales associates for processing.

  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.

  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for both employee and customer traffic.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while completing tasks.

  • Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

  • Take check calls from drivers to ensure timely deliveries, validating all load data before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.

  • Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, verifying that loads arrive on time and in good condition.

What You’ll Need to Excel:

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to fluctuating freight volumes.

  • Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a plus.

  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.

  • Familiarity with using handheld scanners.

  • Ability to apply critical thinking to follow instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds.

  • Capability to load and unload trucks.

Pay Details: 17.00 per week
