Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for a Warehouse Receiving position. This role involves handling incoming products, ingredients, and packaging materials, checking them into inventory, and transferring them between the warehouse and production.

Responsibilities
  • Receive freight trucks full of raw ingredients and materials.
  • Inspect and verify freight against BOM and POs.
  • Provide information to the receiving clerk for inventory updates.
  • Stock materials in the warehouse or transfer directly to the production department.
  • Operate both standard and stand-up forklifts (training provided).
  • Perform basic warehouse duties such as cleaning and breaking down waste materials.
  • Recycle wrap and pallets.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in material handling and forklift operation.
  • Ability to learn new lift operations quickly.
  • Experience working in food/manufacturing warehouse settings is beneficial.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down).
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Experience with handheld scanners, inventory management, and order picking.
  • Knowledge of GMP and quality control.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse environment with concrete floors and equipment moving throughout the warehouse. Shifts include B Shift (3-11:30pm) and C Shift (11-7:30am), with the possibility of one weekend day off and typically 5x8 shifts with 2 consecutive weekdays off.
