Job Description
As a Welder, you will perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques during the assembly process of diversified metal assemblies according to customer drawing specifications and work order instructions.
Responsibilities- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques for fabrications.
- Ensure weld operations are performed according to established specifications (i.e. production work orders and drawings).
- Perform quality and self-inspection using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and/or measuring tools.
- Meet pre-established objectives independently or as part of a team with limited to no supervision.
- Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment to avoid damage.
- Actively participate in new product introductions and suggest new approaches for continued improvement in production and quality.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the workplace and general area.
- Perform routine welding machine maintenance as stipulated in maintenance procedure manuals.
- Keep the workplace safe and free of dangerous obstacles.
- 5+ years' experience in MIG/TIG welding.
- Experience in welding heavy steel and stainless steel.
- Experience with new build welds and repair welds.
- Blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in TIG, Flux core, and stainless steel welding.
- Manual dexterity.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to various changes in situations.
- High school diploma or GED.

Work EnvironmentThis position works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. The role primarily involves standing for up to six (6) plus hours per day, with some duties requiring sitting for short periods. The job requires lifting 0-50 lbs. in the proper ergonomic position.
