Job DescriptionJob Description

 Aerotek is seeking skilled CNC Mill Set Up Operators to join our dynamic team.

As a CNC Mill Set Up Operator, you will primarily operate Fanuc-controlled Doosan 4100 or 300 machines. A strong understanding of G&M codes is essential for this role. You will be responsible for loading programs, making necessary edits, and ensuring the efficient operation of our advanced machinery, which includes 2-axis, 4-axis, and live tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up Fanuc-controlled Doosan 4100 or 300 machines.

Proficiently utilize G&M codes for programming.

Load and edit programs as required.

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Mills.

Conduct inspections using micrometers and other precision tools.

Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Make minor adjustments to programs as needed.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in G&M codes and blueprint reading.

Experience with Haas, Fanuc, and CNC Lathes.

Strong ability to set up and operate CNC Mills.

Knowledge of machining processes and tooling.

Programming skills for CNC machinery.

Inspection skills using micrometers.

Additional Qualifications:

Previous experience in a machine shop environment.

Ability to make small program edits.

Willingness to learn and receive training in programming.

Work Environment: Our family-owned job shop maintains a comfortable temperature of 73 degrees year-round. Standard shifts are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays. Overtime may require earlier starts, with typical workdays around 12 hours.
