Job Description
If candidates are selected to be in the packing department, they will be in a climate-controlled room packing carbon steel elements with fiberglass. These elements are used in the oil industry to filter out unwanted debris. Candidates will be filling elements with the correct amount of fiberglass and packing them down with a large metal rod. If candidates are selected to be in the crating department, they will be building crates to house elements for shipping. Reading a tape measure and the ability to safely use hand and power tools are a must. Candidates will be using tools such as nail guns, impact guns, table saws, and hammers.
Responsibilities- Pack carbon steel elements with fiberglass in a climate-controlled room.
- Fill elements with the correct amount of fiberglass and pack them down with a large metal rod.
- Build crates to house elements for shipping.
- Read a tape measure accurately.
- Safely use hand and power tools, including nail guns, impact guns, table saws, and hammers.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Experience with hand and power tools such as nail guns, impact guns, table saws, and hammers.
- Experience in packing, production, and general labor.
- Skills in filling, stacking, assembly, labeling, bottling, loading, and forklift operation.
- Experience in warehouse packing and packing boxes.
All medical benefits are covered. You can be cross-trained if you have an interest in learning how to weld.
Work EnvironmentWork in a well-maintained shop. The packing room is climate-controlled. The first shift is from 6:30 am to 3 pm, with voluntary overtime available. You can listen to music while you work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
