Join Our Team as an Electronics/Server Assembler

About the Role: Are you passionate about technology and looking to work in a dynamic environment? We are seeking skilled Electronics/Server Assemblers to join our team. This position offers a competitive pay rate and a structured work schedule to provide stability and growth opportunities.

Pay:

  • $18-20 per hour

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am - 4:30pm (must be open to Saturday OT on the last Saturday of each month)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to assemble computer hardware components.
  • Production: Complete tasks as described by production schedules with minimal supervision.
  • Verification: Verify all components picked to items on the order.
  • Professionalism: Work and communicate in a professional manner.
  • Goals: Achieve departmental work goals.
  • Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Feedback: Communicate suggestions and feedback to build documents.
  • Math: Conduct basic math calculations.
  • Quality Control: Record any non-conformances and perform visual quality inspections.
  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto or from a cart.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Open the electronic order tracking system and select the most urgent build.
  • Grab the corresponding parts cart with all necessary materials for the build.
  • Verify in the system that all correct parts and quantities are on the cart.
  • Print labels for the computer being assembled.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions on the computer screen to assemble the computer or server.
  • Use a torque screwdriver to assemble the computer.
  • After assembly, place parts back on the cart for another employee to wire the computers.

Tools Provided by Company:

  • Torque screwdriver
  • Pliers
  • Scraper (to remove labels and stickers)

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of assembly experience.
  • Hand Tools: 1 to 3 years of hand tool experience.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Communication: Ability to read and write in English.
  • Flexibility: Desire to work overtime.
