Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team as a remote, independent contractor for a school-based setting in Kentucky. As a virtual provider through Vocovision, you will work with students in a variety of K-12 educational settings to develop and implement physical therapy services that support their educational goals and overall well-being. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote physical therapy services to students, assessing and developing treatment plans based on their individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to ensure effective student support.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Work with students on developing gross motor skills, coordination, and mobility to improve academic participation and daily functioning.
- Communicate regularly with school staff and families to update them on student progress and goals.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent) from an accredited program.
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Kentucky.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong technical skills and comfort with telehealth platforms (training provided).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and school staff remotely.
- Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and maintain flexibility in a virtual environment.
