Full-Time School Psychologist (K-12) Near Groveport, OH
ProCare Therapy is looking to fill a School Psychologist contract job in our schoolfor deaf and hard-of-hearing students.This is a full-time, on-site position startingASAP As a School Psychologist, you will provide essential support for students K-12. You will help students with their mental health, education and learning through assessments, IEPs and evaluations.
School District Location:Columbus, OH
Job Type: Full-time School Psychologist
Start/End Date: ASAP- End of School Year

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all student initial and re-evaluations, including student testing
  • Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues.
  • Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies.
  • Work with students, families, and school staff to address and resolve conflicts and behavioral concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Ohio.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, particularly with deaf or hard-of-hearing students is preferred.
  • Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology, mental health, and education.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances.
  • Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology related to psychology and education.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Weekly Pay
  • $45-$50hourly rate. Pay dependent on experience and school district budget.
