Location: Cities of Salmon Creek, Minnehaha, Vancouver, WA
Position Type: Full-Time, K-12 Grade Students
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in providing exceptional behavioral support to K-12 grade students in the Salmon Creek, Minnehaha, and Vancouver, WA areas. The BCBA will play a critical role in developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students.
Implement, monitor, and evaluate behavior intervention plans and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Provide direct support and guidance to students to address behavioral challenges and promote positive behaviors.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavioral interventions.
Train and support teachers and school staff in the implementation of behavior strategies and interventions.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and behavior data.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on behavioral strategies and interventions.
Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience working with K-12 grade students, particularly those with behavioral challenges.
Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Current certification or licensure in the state of Washington.
