Join Sunbelt Staffing as an X-Ray Technician in Lafayette, COfor a 13-week contract. This day shift role offers a 36-hour work week.

Job Description: As an X-Ray Technician, you will:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to capture the necessary images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety standards and protocols.
  • Provide excellent patient care and address any concerns or questions.

Job Details

  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Dayshift (3x12hour shifts)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Must be able to work independently in one other specialized Medical Imaging area. Other specialized Medical Imaging areas include ultrasound, nucr medicine, computerized tomography, mammography, bone density or MRI

Job Requirements

  • Must have ARRT (R) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an X-Ray Technician
  • BLS certification through AHA
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Associates degree in Radiology
