Job Description: We're currently seeking a dedicated School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contracted role in Templeton, CA. As an RBT, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with autism and related disabilities within the school environment. You'll provide personalized assistance, collaborate closely with school staff, and facilitate communication with families to ensure student success.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior plans tailored to students with autism and related disabilities within the school setting.
- Offer individualized and group support within classrooms to promote student engagement and success.
- Collect and document data on student progress and behavior to inform intervention strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to create a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain regular communication with parents to provide updates on student progress and discuss strategies for support at home.
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification.
- Previous experience working with autistic children, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and their application within the school environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
- Willingness to complete background checks as necessary.
