Job DescriptionJob Description

We are working with the Department of Defense in Salt Lake City, Utah to fill a critical Ultrasound/Sonographer Tech position.  This is an 11-month contract that has the option to renew every 11 months.  Here are some of the details of the position:
 

Schedule:  M-F 0800 to 16330 (8am to 4:30pm)
Pay:  $1984 per week 
Benefits:  Full benefits package offered OR Health & Wellness pay

Responsibilities:
Call varies (until 2200 on weeknights, ~15hrs weekend-one day)

  • Expected to be able to critique images for optimal quality and use PACS to transmit images for Radiologist interpretation. 
  • Must be able to perform common exams listed:  AAA Screens, Abdomen Complete/No Aorta 
  • Abdomen Limited 
  • Right Upper Quadrant
  • Renal , Pelvic

Requirements: 
Education: Graduate from an approved School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Experience:  Minimum of two-years experience in specialty
Certification: RT Certification from ARMDS is required and  Basic Life Support (BLS).
License: Have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S and/or certification as required.
