Job Description

We are seeking skilled Electrical PLC Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. As a PLC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical and automation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems.
  • Perform electrical and automation troubleshooting.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
  • Work with photo eye sensors, robotics, and automation systems.
  • Use CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Handle conveyor maintenance in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Work with ladder logic and Siemens PLCs.
  • Maintain machinery wiring and industrial electrical systems.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of photo eye sensors and automation troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with robotics troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of ladder logic programming.
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs.
  • Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Experience with conveyor maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with VFDs, 3 phase motors, and 480 volts.
  • Knowledge of machinery wiring and industrial electricity.

Work Environment

You will work in a variety of environments including freezer, refrigerated, and oven/furnace areas. Shifts available are 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm and 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00
