We are in search of a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing a variety of financial transactions, including accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and record customer credit applications
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and organized
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Manage accounts receivable and collections processes
• Handle invoicing tasks and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
• Record daily transactions
• Manage cash deposits, checks, and vouchers
• Oversee and record all daily receipts and enter invoices into the system.
• Must possess strong skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in handling Collections is essential
• Ability to record and manage Daily Transactions efficiently
• Experience in handling Cash Deposits and Daily Receipts
• Proficient in entering Invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Must have a strong understanding of Financial Transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
