Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team based in Statesboro, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial operations and maintaining precise records, contributing significantly to the operational success of our team.

Responsibilities

• Administer, manage, and ensure accuracy in accounts payable and receivable

• Oversee the financial stability of operations through effective cash flow management

• Prepare, review, and present monthly financial reports including bank reconciliations and sales tax filings

• Lead payroll administration, including execution of payroll, payroll tax payments, and filing reports

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, and assist in preparing tax filings

• Manage employee records, insurance policies, and the firm’s 401(k) plan

• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and supervision of administrative staff

• Maintain office operations, including managing office supply inventory and vendor relationships

• Manage client files opening and closing, and maintain meticulous records

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.

• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise.

• Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE software.

• Familiarity with Lacerte Tax Software.

• Experience in calculating and filing Monthly Sales Tax.

• Proven experience with Full Cycle Payroll management.

• Ability to handle Payroll Taxes effectively.

• Proficient in Payroll Tax Reporting.
