LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Construction Case Manager for a year long contract position that could extend in Baton Rouge, LA. This is for a title insurance company with an excellent reputation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Corresponding with homeowners, tracking and monitoring progress of projects, and providing technical assistance for construction projects.

  • Project planning including identifying available funding, supporting project budgeting, reviewing estimates and bids, permitting requirements, and understanding scopes of work and program requirements.

  • Contractor selection including providing resources for choosing contractors in good standing, providing information on avoiding contractor fraud, identifying resources and construction trades necessary to perform the work

  • Prioritization of repairs including recommendations on sequence of repairs.

  • Assistance through construction completion including coordinating with contractors, initiating and reviewing work completed, and providing other technical advisement as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • A four (4) year Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.

  • Three (3) or more years of functional experience providing specialized advisory service related to housing recovery, including construction, claims adjusting, and/or related industry knowledge.

  • Experience with CDBG housing and/or FEMA hazard mitigation and similar programs/projects is preferred.

  • Experience with insurance adjusting, homeowner claims processing, and/or residential construction preferred.

  • Experience with analyzing and explaining construction plans, scopes of work, Xactimate estimates, and change orders is preferred.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.99 per hour
