Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Operator to perform in-circuit testing of circuit boards using automated equipment such as ICT GENRARD or AGILENT. The role includes maintaining records and logs as required, performing other test-related duties, and cross-training in functions assigned by lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-circuit testing of circuit boards using automated equipment such as ICT GENRARD or AGILENT.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
  • Carry out other test-related duties as necessary.
  • Cross-train in functions assigned by lead or supervisor.
Essential Skills
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of basic electronics assembly.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and understand MPI and drawings.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to identify component names, values, and orientations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in testing preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a mechanical operator in an electronics manufacturing environment is preferable.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IPC-610A standards.
  • Skills in assembly, inspection, equipment operation, and component assembly.
  • Experience with SMT and electronic assembly.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

This position operates in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) processes. Expect a professional setting with a focus on precision and quality in electronics assembly.
