School Psychologist Needed - Douglas, AZ (2024-25 School Year)
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Douglas, AZ. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students, working within a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their emotional and social development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on relevant topics.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• ValidState License or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and their families.
