Position Type: Full-Time
Caseload: k-12
Pay range: $37+/hr
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
- Be available for crisis intervention and support, offering assistance to students facing emergencies or challenging situations.
- Guide students in their exploration of post-secondary education and career options. Assist in college applications, scholarship opportunities, and career planning.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to identify and address academic challenges. Implement strategies to enhance students' study skills and academic success.
- Work with students exhibiting behavioral issues, developing intervention plans and collaborating with teachers and administrators to promote positive behavior.
- Integrate SEL programs and initiatives to enhance students' emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills.
- Mediate and facilitate conflict resolution among students, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
- municate and collaborate with parents/guardians to address students' needs and provide ongoing support.
- Stay current with best practices in school counseling and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field.
- State certification as a School Counselor.
- Demonstrated experience in counseling, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and career development.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with empathy.
