We are on the lookout for a proficient Payroll Specialist to be a part of our Real Estate & Property team based in OAK BROOK, Illinois. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be tasked with handling payroll accounting, managing variances, general ledger and payroll taxes, along with a thorough understanding of general accounting principles. This role also necessitates timesheet processing knowledge and expertise in using accounting software systems.


Responsibilities:

• Facilitate accurate and timely payroll accounting.

• Handle Dayforce operations and administration.

• Perform variance analysis and manage monthly variances.

• Oversee and manage general ledger entries.

• Handle payroll taxes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Ensure general accounting principles are adhered to in all transactions.

• Review and process timesheets effectively.

• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient financial management.

• Administer 401k - RRSP as per company policies.

• Execute various accounting functions as per business requirements.

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll managerial role within the real estate and property industry.

• Proficient in various accounting software systems - ADP Dayforce is required.

• Proven expertise in using Dayforce for payroll management.

• Ability to efficiently manage payroll for a diverse and dynamic workforce.

• Experience in conducting monthly variance and variance analysis.

• Proficient in managing and maintaining the general ledger.

• Extensive knowledge of payroll taxes regulations and procedures.

• Solid understanding of general accounting principles.

• Experienced in reviewing and validating timesheets for payroll processing.
