School-Based Occupational Therapist

Do you have a passion forhelping students maximize their independence and quality of life? ProCare Therapy is searching for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join one of our trustedschool districts located in the beautiful South Carolina community of West Columbia.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in addressing the fine motor, sensory, and functional skills required for success in the school environment. As a School-Based OT, you will work closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students with disabilities and help them access their educational program effectively.

Job Description

  • Full-time
  • M-F
  • ASAP start - end of school year
  • Elementary caseload, primarily PreK
  • Split between 2 school sites
  • Duties: write evaluations, reports, IEPs, etc.
  • Another OT onsite for support
  • More details discussed upon interview

Job Requirements

  • Current and active SC OT License
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Prio School-based experienced preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certified
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual or onsite interview with district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
