Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor to ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and within budget. This role involves managing a team of production workers, monitoring production schedules, ensuring quality control, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Monitor production processes, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and ensure effective performance.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement production schedules and workflow plans.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production lines to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations and address any production challenges.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• May require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
• Exposure to typical manufacturing environment conditions, including noise, temperature variations, and machinery.
