Job Description:

• CONSCI is looking for a chemist who is advanced in ICP MS and FTIR in order to perform R&D and testing on specialty gases that will be used for the electronics, semiconductor, and petrochemical industry. Examples are laser gases, fluorinated gases, space gas testing , neon light gases, xenon gas testing.
• Assignments are unique and custom to the project, and this varies weekly/monthly. The Chemist will need to be okay with R&D stages , which will then lead to prep and analysis of samples using instrumentation.
• Every day starts with a team operational meeting to optimize throughput and set up a schedule for the lab. After that, the chemist will be on the bench working.
• There is a lot of demand and they need someone to handle the projects in a timely manner, and help clear the backlog.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Chemistry, Physics
• Software's: Thermos Ex-Caliber, Open LAB , easy Chrome, Agilent gas chromatographers, Moss Hunter for ICPMS
• Shift: 7 am to 4 pm , Monday to Friday
• Plumbing / tubing aptitude
• Lifting and moving gas cylinders : 50 to 60 pounds
• General mechanical aptitude. A "do it yourself" type of person who can break things apart, put them together. Handy
