Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join a dynamic team within a fast-paced clinical lab. This role addresses recent high turnover due to resignations, relocations, and terminations. The team supports three cancer centers and orthopedic clinics, and operates across three shifts. The successful candidate will primarily collect blood/urine samples from adult cancer and orthopedic patients, process samples in EPIC, and answer phones. On the 3rd shift, candidates can expect to draw from 40-50 patients per shift, with the busiest time being from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The role involves traveling by foot to patient rooms for blood draws.

Hard Skills
  • 2+ years’ experience as a phlebotomist within a hospital
  • EPIC experience (experience with hand-held Rover devices preferred)
  • Phlebotomy certification (highly preferred but not required)

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
