Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position
  • Location: Wauconda, IL
  • Dates: ASAP - May 23rd (if no emergency days are used)
  • Schedule:
    • .6 FTE (3 days/week) in theAM/PM Early Childhood Program (includes students with Autism or characteristics of Autism)
      • AM Class: Max of 8 students
      • PM Class: Max of 8 students
    • .4 FTE (2 days/week), Caseload: 15-20 students
      • Includes Tier 1-3 interventions and possible initial evaluations
      • Students receive 30-60 minutes per week
  • Hours: 8:20 AM - 3:50 PM
Job Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current IL licensure for SLP
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience with preschool, early childhood, and autism spectrum disorder preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy for students in early childhood and elementary programs, including those with Autism or characteristics of Autism
  • Deliver Tier 1-3 speech/language interventions and conduct initial evaluations
  • Manage caseload of 15-20 students, providing appropriate services and case management
  • Collaborate with school teams to create and implement IEPs and other student support plans
  • Conduct screenings and assessments, tracking progress
