Summary:
ProCare Therapys Education Department seeks a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to support our school system in Lansdowne, Pennslyvaniafor the 2024-20245 school year.Candidatewill work alongside paraprofessionals to provide engaging teaching and learning practices to our young students. Ideal candidates will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of our students by directly contributing to the student(s) development. Providing curriculumplans designed to stimulate curiosityand discovery implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Program). Thus, providing direction and guidance to achieve their academic success.
We are looking for a wide range of experience working with students or school aged children providing highly structured classrooms with an emphasis on behavior management, language enrichment and intensive sensory supports. Variety of experience with special education classrooms, assessments, evaluations, non-verbal communication skills & preparing students for transition into the next grade level. Most importantly, we want to provide additional support for you to excel in your field during these times.
Job Description:
This is a Special Education teaching opportunity supporting our students remotely with students K-12th grade. Mostly virtual case management services.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters level in special education from accreditedcollege
- In State special education teaching certificate
- Strong Communication and collaboration skills with co-teachers, children, and families
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Virtual experience working remote servicing students.
