Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. This position involves covering various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. The role requires the ability to perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including vascular, spine, craniotomy, orthopedic, general, thoracic, plastic, ENT, OMF, robotic, trauma, and transplants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including open and endovascular vascular cases, spine cases (neurosurgery and orthopedic), craniotomies, orthopedic trauma surgeries, general surgery cases (open and MIS), thoracic surgeries, plastic surgeries (flaps), ENT (trach), OMF, robotic surgeries, trauma (head, chest, abdomen), and transplants (kidney/liver).
• Provide support in scrubbing for agency nurses to assist with surgical team deficits.
• Adapt to rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call duties.
• Ensure proper sterile techniques and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support patient care and procedural needs.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a variety of surgical procedures.
• Ability to perform in high-pressure environments and manage various surgical specialties.
• Flexibility to cover rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and complete onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
