Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Asbestos Technician for a large engineering consulting firm in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will perform tests, air monitoring and sampling in search for asbestos, lead, and other compounds.  Duties also include, but are not limited to; monitoring for parameters such as temperature, carbon dioxide, and noise and personnel exposure monitoring. Performs asbestos inspections and oversight for asbestos abatement projects.  Tabulate and prepare data for written reports  This individual will be operating/calibrating field monitoring equipment on a daily basis. This position supports clients in North and South Carolina with some opportunities for travel across the country. For the first 6 months, if necessary, they will be trained to obtain their relevant certifications. This will mainly include office work and generally, 40 hour weeks. Once the certifications are obtained, the individual will work on job sites with the ability to obtain unlimited overtime. The ideal candidate will be able to move from site to site at a days notice and maintain proper working efficiency.
