Clinical Pharmacist- San Carlos, Arizona

Job Title: Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacist (13-Week Assignment)
Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift
Essential Functions:- Direct and manage daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service delivery consistent with professional and regulatory standards.
- Develop operational and financial outcome measures and tracking systems, integrating efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
- Implement and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
- Assess program effectiveness regularly, facilitating continuous process improvement.
- Supervise staff through timely feedback and appropriate HR policies, fostering professional growth.
- Plan and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage purchasing and inventory functions for cost-effective inventory management.
- Facilitate staff professional growth by assessing learning needs and coordinating opportunities.
- Prepare monthly progress reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommendations.
- Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Engage in educational programs to maintain current skills and competencies, discussing training needs with the Supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Five Years of Professional Experience: Required, with at least two years in a management role.
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy: PharmD preferred, including a one-year residency.
- Current and Valid State Pharmacy License: Required.
- BLS Certification: Must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
