Job DescriptionJob Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations, quantity estimates and cost estimates

• Prepare Hydraulic and Drainage Reports

• Compile Specifications

• Prepare permit applications

• Perform CADD drafting primarily utilizing Microstation and Open Road Designer

• Maintain project documentation such as calculations, correspondence with the client, meeting minutes, etc.

• Assist in the preparation of written reports and presentations of project findings

Required Experience

• PE certification required

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum 10 years Drainage design experience

• Experience with Microstation and GeoPak

• 3D Modeling Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Office Products

• Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, TR-20, Hydraflow, TR-SS, STORMCAD, HY 8, HY 22, XPSWMM2016, and WSPRO

• Experience using State Water Survey (SWS) Bulletin 20

• Experience with SMS utilizing SRH-2D

• Knowledge of common Illinois Drainage Laws

• Effective time-management, strong communication and teamwork skills

• Good organizational skills

• Strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow professionally
