Job DescriptionJob Description
Job SummaryThe Banquet Server is responsible for assisting with the setup, breakdown, and overall service during banquet events. This role primarily involves back-end duties such as dishwashing, beverage preparation, and post-event cleanup, while ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
  • Perform back-end duties, including dishwashing and coffee/beverage preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
  • Relay food and beverage orders and accommodate special requests.
  • Anticipate guest needs to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate important information regarding orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure a professional appearance and mannerisms at all times.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitary practices.
  • Strong communication skills to relay guest orders and special requests.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in banquet or event service.
