Job Description

Our client is a veteran-owned custom fabrication facility that specializes in non-ferrous fabrication. They have been a preferred partner for the defense, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and automotive industries. They are considered a job shop. The aerospace welder will primarily focus on Tig Welding on sheet metal, stainless steel, steel, and aluminum. Responsibilities include fabrication and fitting on fixtures and forming, with projects varying from small to very large pieces.

Hard Skills
  • 8+ Years Aerospace Welding
  • Mig/Tig Welding
  • Fitting Experience
  • Read Blueprints
  • Material: Sheet metal, stainless steel, steel & Aluminum
  • Positions: Flat & Horizontal
  • Set up & run the welding machines
  • Knowing the different gases used with the different welds
  • Welding symbols
  • Prototype/job shop welding (no production)
