Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support all warehouse functions including receiving, kitting, and shipping while maintaining the warehouse in an organized fashion
  • Supervise employees engaged in the processing of of materials being brought into, moved within, and shipped out of the organizations facilities
  • Support receiving function: ensure materials are checked against vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and similar documentation
  • Support shipping function: adhere to customer packaging, labeling, and routing requirements
  • Support inventory function: Perform cycle counts, stock transfers, and material adjustments
  • Assist in identifying, reconciling, and preventing inventory issues
  • Oversee record keeping of damaged or defective items and discrepancies with regard to quantities and weights
  • Review and maintain records of shipping/receiving processes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
  • 1 year experience of inventory control and shipping via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL
  • Knowledge of export regulations regarding international shipments
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
