Job Type: Full-Time
Caseload: Kindergarten through 6th Grade (K-6)
Hours: 8 hours per day (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), with a half-hour unpaid lunch
Pay: $50 - $55 per hour
Tentative Start/End Dates: November 2024 April 2024 (with possibility of extending through the end of the 2024-2025 school year; last day of school is 06/13/25)
Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team for a full-time position in Forest Park, CA. This role involves supporting students in grades K-6 with behavioral needs. The BCBA will be responsible for creating and implementing behavior intervention plans, working closely with school staff, and ensuring the success of the students they support. There is potential for this position to extend through the entire 2024-2025 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff to support students behavior and academic progress.
- Monitor and assess students' behavioral progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed.
- Provide training and support for staff in effective behavioral strategies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid BCBA certification.
- Experience working with K-6th grade students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
