Assembler - 2nd Shift

This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily in a clean room environment. The role includes the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, using microscopes for medical device production, and operating various equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities- Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
- Follow manufacturing instructions and update relevant job documentation accurately for traceability.
- Prepare and pack products for sterilization.
- Inspect products using a microscope.
- Set up coating machines and perform coating operations.
- Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations, and test formulations.
- Package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
- Identify supplies that need replenishment.
- Build components needed for top-level work orders.
- Complete cleaning activities as required.
- Ensure activities comply with GMPs.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
- Good hand/eye dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer software packages.
- Medium level proficiency in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Experience with microscope inspection preferred.
- Pharmaceutical/coating experience required for coating positions.
- Ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to supervisors and management.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Comfort working with chemicals.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in a cleanroom environment. Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods and must follow cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
