The Manager, Information Security will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our information security program.

What You'll Do:

  • Focusing on the governance tasks within IAM Operations (Quality Reviews, Audit, Certifications, knowledge base article revisions)
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and other teams to implement and maintain security controls and processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead security awareness and training initiatives to educate employees on security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Manage security incidents and breaches, including investigation, response, and remediation efforts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of security incidents, metrics, and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.


What you have:

  • Solid understanding of information security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in information security, with demonstrated experience in managing security operations and projects.

Overview:

  • Focused not on designing or building out anything, but instead on governance.

  • Specifically: How will auditors and governance look at results, want to see knowledge-based articles written about Identity & Access Management (IAM), and QC checks.

  • 90-day contract to hire.

  • Hybrid: 3 days in-office a week is a company policy. Flexible on which days of the week, and these days can be changed at any time.

  • MUST be local to Indianapolis, IN. 

Job Requirements:

  • Assists with project management.

  • Evaluates and edits knowledge-based articles.

  • Evaluates tickets for any possible missing information.

  • Asks the five WHY’s for every knowledge-based article to determine if it answers all necessary questions. 

  • Remediates findings and issues found from a GRC audit. 

  • Writes up a management action response to audit findings as needed.

  • Analyze metrics and regulatory information. 

Education and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in IAM. 

  • BCO or GRC backgrounds with strong IT experience are acceptable, IAM experience is strongly preferred. 

  • Provisioning experience is more important than skillset.

Preferred Skills/Requirements

  • IAM certification is a plus. 

  • Ideal has 5+ years of experience with ticketing processes and IAM procedures and is now ready to move into an intro-level management position. 

  • Project management experience preferred.
