Remote School Psychologist Opportunity: Full-Time Position in Massachusettsfor the 2024/2025 School Year

Are you a motivated School Psychologist eager to work remotely and support student growth? Join Hingham Public Schools in Massachusetts for a full-time virtual position this school year. Youll lead as the team chair, conducting evaluations and ensuring students receive the support they need. Dont miss outinterviews are being arranged this week, and these positions are filled quickly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Counseling and Support: Deliver individual and group counseling to help students overcome academic, social, and emotional challenges. Equip them with essential coping strategies.
  • Consult with Educators and Parents: Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster supportive environments, offering expert advice on classroom management and behavioral interventions.
  • Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Perform evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Design programs that promote mental health, address substance abuse, prevent bullying, and facilitate workshops for staff, students, and parents.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Masters degree in School Psychology.
  • Licensure: Active School Psychology license inMassachusetts.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a school setting. Virtual therapy experience is a plus but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection (Chromebooks and tablets are not permitted).

Pay and Benefits:

  • Contract Type: 1099
  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours
  • Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $40 to $55, based on district budget and candidate's experience.
  • Support: Access to a clinical and technical team when needed.

Interview Process:

  1. Screening Call: 10-15 minutes with a recruiter to discuss qualifications and availability.
  2. Virtual Interview: 20-30 minutes with the school district.
  3. Offer: Typically extended within 24-48 hours after the interview.
