Job Description
The Press Operator is an entry level role in a production wood working environment. The role requires for using hand and power tools, reading tape measures, understanding shop paperwork, and handling materials. This role involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. You will sometimes work with another person catching the material on the opposite side and other times you will work alone, which requires you to lean forward to grab the material independently.
This is a 1st shift role working Monday-Thursday from 6am-4pm and Friday from 6am-3pm (with the potential to leave by 10am).
Responsibilities- Read and understand tape measures and shop paperwork.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Work both independently and with a partner to handle materials.
- Assist with loading materials for the saw operator.
- Experience in assembly, production, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a non-climate controlled area that is fairly clean but may have some saw dust. It can be moderately loud in some areas, so ear plugs are required.
