Position: Full-Time School Psychologist
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Term: Academic Year (August 2024 - May 2025)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our educational team in Reno, NV. This role involves providing essential psychological services to support the academic and social-emotional development of students within our school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents/guardians, and external stakeholders to develop and implement interventions and support plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing issues such as behavior management, social skills, and crisis intervention.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Nevada license or certification as a School Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
