We are inviting applications for the role of Sr. Accountant, based in Boca Raton, Florida. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities including managing ledger accounts, participating in month-end closings, and handling large amounts of data manipulation. Responsibilities:


• Conducting intricate journal entries as part of month-end closing activities

• Performing comprehensive general ledger account reconciliations and analyses in a timely manner

• Participating in the preparation of balance sheet and income statement analytical analysis monthly, explaining any major variances to budget and prior year

• Assisting in the daily banking requirements as needed

• Collaborating with other departments to support the Accounting department’s overall goals and objectives

• Reviewing actual results as compared to prior period, budget, and forecast amounts

• Involved in special projects/analyses requiring extensive use of Microsoft Excel and data manipulation

• Proactively identifying workflow process improvements and efficiencies

• Reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by Staff and Senior Accountants

• Advising Staff Accountants on non-routine accounting and reporting transactions

• Assisting Manager in ASC805 acquisition related processes including Opening Balance Sheet procedures

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role, preferably in the Healthcare/NHS industry.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required.
• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary for data management and analysis.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required.
• Knowledge of financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is essential.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be considered an asset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location.
