Utility Worker

Our client, an automotive company that focuses on bed liners for brand new GM trucks, is seeking a Utility Worker to join their team. As a Utility Worker, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, organizational skills, Forklift license, previous inventory experience, and knowledge of 5S and housekeeping initiatives, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Utility Worker
Location: Wentzville, MO
Pay Range: $18.54/hr - could come with shift differential
Shift: 2nd shift 2:45p-10:45p
What's the Job?
- Rebuild, clean, assemble/disassemble spray guns
- Daily maintenance, sweeping, mopping and use of floor scrubber to ensure cleanliness of shop floor as needed while being conscientious of safety requirements
- General maintenance responsibilities, ensuring proper lighting in work cells, snow blowing/salting parking lot and other areas when necessary, painting as required by facility needs
- Cleaning facility spills with approved Spill Kits and disposing of trash into compactor during production as needed
- Operating a Fork Lift, loaders, and mobile equipment
- Inventory (receipt, count, placing in correct location, removal from truck, sign for receipt of, confirmation of receipt of stated delivery items)
- Changing of ISO and Resin totes as needed
- Assist maintenance staff as needed
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
What's Needed?
- Excellent problem-solving skills and organizational skills
- Previous inventory experience preferred
- Maintain a valid driver's license/forklift license
- Knowledge of 5S and housekeeping initiatives
