Join our district in Portland, ME, as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Help students thrive in life skills and medical needs classrooms. Full-time positions, starting at $18/hour and going up to $25/hour depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package included

With multiple openings in higher medical needs and life skills classes, our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) will be essential to our K-12 students' well-being. These positions will allow you to work closely with both students and staff, with ample opportunities to collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to making a positive impact.

What to Expect as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll be working in classrooms with students who have higher medical needs, helping with daily activities and health management. You'll also be performing para duties, offering essential support to teachers and other classroom aides. Behavioral training may be provided if necessary, so you'll need to be flexible and willing to learn. Your role as a CNA will be crucial in providing hands-on care, support, and assistance in these special education classrooms.

Position Details:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Location: Portland, ME
  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • September 3rd, 2024 June 13th, 2025
  • K-12 caseload with multiple openings across the district
  • Pay Range: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience
  • Comprehensive Insurance and Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • W-2 classification with weekly pay
  • Matching 401(k)

Qualifications Needed:

  • Must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • Must pass fingerprints and drug screening
  • Previous experience in healthcare or school settings preferred but not required

Interview Process:

  • A quick 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • A 20-30 minute virtual interview with the school district
  • Offers are typically made within 24-48 hours after the interview
