Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to support security products for the aviation industry, focusing on Computed Tomography (CT) based systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant technical field

  • Minimum eight years of experience in software quality assurance for complex real-time software control systems

  • Proven experience with successful software components and products

  • Demonstrated experience in real-time control systems, object-oriented design, high-speed communication methodologies, internet connectivity, and distributed computing

  • Significant experience with various computing platforms, source code control tools, integrated development environments, and sensors/instrumentation

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of digital imaging systems

  • Familiarity with Linux, Python, My-SQL, C/C++, Java, Qt, Squish, TCP/IP, Accurev, JAMA and Jira

Job Responsibilities:

  • Final evaluation of all software content for CT-based security products

  • Conduct appropriate testing for software products

  • Institute best practices in software quality assurance including automated test tools and process improvements

  • Provide recommendations for tools and processes to improve software quality

  • Collaborate with the software product manager and staff to integrate test considerations early in project phases

  • Attend design reviews to provide feedback and plan test processes



Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
