Duration: Potentially 3 months, with the possibility of extension or becoming temp-to-hire
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility for early start/finish
Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, possibly temp-to-hire
 
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role offers the potential to become permanent based on performance and company needs. You will be working in a positive environment with high standards for employee care and opportunities for growth and development.
 
Key Responsibilities: As the HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's HR department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Recruitment: Assist with recruiting for production and other roles, ensuring that the company attracts and hires the best talent. This includes posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
• Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management. You will be the go-to person for employees seeking advice or assistance with HR-related matters.
• Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards. You will also be responsible for communicating these policies to employees and ensuring they are understood and followed.
• Day-to-Day HR Duties: Perform a variety of HR tasks to support the HR team, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits administration. You will work closely with the Senior Manager and HR Assistant to ensure the smooth operation of the HR department.
• Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by organizing employee engagement activities, conducting surveys, and implementing initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. You will also assist in the development of career paths and succession planning.

 
Qualifications:

• Strong HR generalist experience (3-5 years)
• Employee relations and recruiting experience
• Professional communication

 
Preferred Software Skills:

• ADP (nice to have)
• Microsoft Excel (preferred)

 
Education:

• HR certification is a plus but not required

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
