Job Description

We are currently seeking four Specimen Processing Specialists/Laboratory Assistants to support the consumer genetics group during its peak season and assist with a special project. You will be part of a team that helps people learn about their ancestry and understand their genetic health risks.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, stage, and aliquot specimens for testing
  • Perform required QC/QA duties, including error detection, maintaining records/logs, and pulling samples for rework
Essential Skills

  • Data entry
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field is preferred but not required
  • Prior lab experience is a plus but not required
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, responsible for receiving and processing 300,000 samples a week. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
