Remote Special Education Teacher Full-Time Role

Position Details:

  • Full-Time
  • Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students
  • Track and monitor student progress, updating IEP goals as necessary
  • Develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support teams
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings, advocating for student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
  • Valid teaching certification in Vermont
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Comfortable with hosting Zoom meetings
  • Proficient in virtual teaching platforms and technology
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
